Frequently asked questions

Shipping destinations: We ship domestically across Canada and Internationally across the globe.

Shipping times: We typically process and ship orders within 1-3 business days for in-stock items. Custom/commissioned cables will have a longer lead-time. Local orders within Ontario will typically take  1-5 business days to be delivered, while orders in other provinces in Canada may take up to a week and will continue to be shipped within 1-3 business days. Shipping time might vary depending on location, shipment method and other factors.

Shipping cost: Domestic orders over $110 CAD and International orders over $125 CAD will also come with free shipping. Domestic Orders under $110 CAD and International orders under $125 CAD will be charged for shipping depending on your chosen delivery method and country. Full price will be displayed at checkout.

Your 100% satisfaction is important for us. We offer a 14-days Return & Exchange Policy on In-Stock items:

If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we will offer 100% refund, however due to the handmade nature of our items we will always prioritize exchanges. 

Timing: we have a 14-days Return & Exchange Policy, since the day item was received.

To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase. For returns, please email sales@onikeyboards.com with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return. We will provide you with instructions where to send returned goods. We strongly recommended to get proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations. 

When returned item is received and inspected, customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund. If a refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after. 

Please note the following exceptions to our return policy: 

Commissioned/Pre-Ordered Items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged in transport. Returned items must be free of any damage and visible wear or use.

We want to give you the confidence and knowledge to know that each cable you receive will be of the highest quality.

All of our cables go through a rigorous quality assurance test to ensure they meet our standards and operate as desired. Soldered points within the cable (i.e., USB C, USB A, Connectors) are protected with heatshrink and/or hot glue to prevent any accidental shorts and improve stability. Upon completion, all cables undergo continuity testing via a Multimeter to make sure all connections are good. We then plug each cable into our favorite keyboard to test functionality. Finally, we inspect all aspects of the cable for any production blemishes or defects.

Official USB standard recommends cable length to not exceed approximately 16 ft. (500 cm).

That being said, we personally do not recommend exceeding 14 ft. (430 cm) of total cable length for normal-powered keyboards and 10 ft. for high-powered keyboards (Drop ALT, Drop CTRL, HHKB, Ducky One 2 Mini).

For reference, each 1" (2.5 cm) of coil with a 1/2" (1.25 cm) inner diameter uses approximately 1 ft. (30 cm) of cable.

Our custom cable commissions are completed in batches of 5-10 at a time. If a custom cable is indicated as sold out, we are currently not accepting commissions at that time.
